Pro 1:1 The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel; Proverbs is the key for understanding the entirety of The Holy Bible from Genesis to Revelation, of which we can and will demonstrate in this study for the glory of The LORD. (Edited in): In learning and knowing that Proverbs is the Key .... It is also very important to know that learning and understanding Genesis is the foundation for grasping the content of the rest of the Books of The Holy Bible. Moreover, as you progress in prayerful study and learning each of the Books, you will discover many hidden nuggets throughout The Holy Bible that will give you an even greater understanding of what is written in Genesis. Every name has a meaning, and many names also represent Nations of the World, and grasping and mastering these names and their meanings, and the related consequences and determinations made by The Lord God Almighty, then your understanding of Prophecy will become greatly enhanced, as you pray for and allow for The Holy Spirit to guide, lead, and teach you. Remember the Proverb, to never lean upon your own understanding, but instead upon "every utterance" of The Lord .... by being patient, and relying on The Lord at all times, He will bless you by teaching you and leading you into all truth. It is also important to mention that per what I just shared about the significance of names, Nations, and consequences; each of these are reference points throughout the Prophetic Books, and as you progress through Kings and Chronicles, you will discover how all of these play a role, and while reading the related Prophetic Books, such as Jeremiah, Isaiah, Ezekiel, and so forth, I reiterate that there are hidden nuggets that will greatly enhance your understanding of Genesis, as well as Daniel, Matthew 24, 2Peter 2-3, 2Tim 3, Jude, and Revelation. (Note that these are but a few examples for the purpose of highlighting, but this includes all of the Books of the New Testament as well, including the lineage of The Lord Jesus Christ and all things that He spoke, as it is written). While Genesis is the foundation; the very same principles also apply to Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deteronomy, and so forth. Hence, every utterance of The Lord. For example, while reading Hebrews and 1Corinthians, you will discover that there are indeed reference points to Exodus. When you get to Daniel, you will discover that all of these Books have everything to do with Salvation; End Times Prophecy; the end of the world.
Proverbs is written for sons of the King. Are you a son of the KING of Kings? Do you not understand Proverbs? As children of The Lord, Proverbs is for us to PRAYERFULLY study and learn. While we recognize and acknowledge the fact that there is a growing famine for the hearing of the words of The Lord, we must also recognize and acknowledge that there is a tremendous amount of error, error of which can become easy to recognize once you have gained complete, and yes, I did say "complete" understanding of Proverbs. Proverbs is not mere "poetry". The first 6 verses alone lay out the purpose for Proverbs. Now, we, as children of The Lord, knowing that we have been saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ with the indwelling of The Holy Spirit, have power with God and by the same annointing that we have with the indwelling of The Holy Spirit, He can and will lead us into ALL truth. Did you notice the word, "all," in "ALL truth"? In the times of which we live, it is vital, more than ever, to seek The Lord prayerfully for the gifts outlined in Proverbs, for discernment, knowledge, wisdom, understanding, and so forth, as they are gifts that only God can give! Only The Lord can give you understanding of what is written in The Holy Bible. Only God can give you wisdom. Only God can give you knowledge, and only God can give you understanding. Now, I know, from personal experience with my own self, that many of you, like me, have been slothful about reading the fullness of The Holy Bible. Remembering how it was when we were first saved, when we were first met by The Lord, as we were broken, our hearts being most humble, as our spirits were contrite, it is with this same meekness, as when we first came as children to The Lord for His miraculous and precious gift of salvation, by and because of what He did for us on the cross at Calvary, according to the Scriptures, as outlined and preached by The Lord Jesus Christ and His chosen Apostles, is how we must approach Him, and His words. Now take a look at verse 4, and ask yourselves, "Do I truly understand Proverbs?" "Do I truly understand what is detailed and entailed in Proverbs?" "Can I rightly divide the word of truth, and rightfully apply Proverbs with other Books of The Holy Bible, and say this is what that means, and so forth?" With humbleness of heart, with meekness, and with patience, if you do not fully understand Proverbs, and/or if you do, or "think" that you do, the first thing to acknowledge and admit is that we are "simple". I can testify and tell you that I have burnt the mid-night oil on Proverbs, by the hundreds and thousands of gallons. The first thing I admitted is that I did not understand what is written. I was "simple", dumber than a sack of hammers, and dumber than a brick. But look at verse 4 again, to give subtlety to the simple ... now as you read that, consider who King Solomon was writing to, as he was inspired by The Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Christ, the Spirit of Truth, to write those words. That's right, sons of the King! And we are sons and daughters of the KING of Kings and LORD of Lords, and our Father wants to teach us! Do you have His annointing? Do you have the indwelling of The Holy Spirit? Have you been born again by the Spirit of Adoption into the Family of God? THEN VERSE 4 IS MEANT FOR YOU JUST AS IT IS MEANT FOR ME! And this is cause to rejoice and be glad that our Father does not want for us to be simple, concerning the hearing of His words, so let us, all of us, acknowledge the fact that we are simple and NEED Him and want for Him to teach us. As your Brother, I can only provide examples, and yes many examples of how Proverbs apply with the other Books, and it is my joy to do so, as it is my hearts desire to encourage you and your faith, as I see you as precious, and I have no doubt, that as I am sharpened by some of you, that you can be sharpened by me, but, and I shout "BUT" I am your Brother, and I am saying that we need to rely on God the Father and God the Son, The Lord Jesus Christ, with the indwelling of God The Holy Spirit, for to lead and teach us, One on one, to get and receive the spiritual gifts that ONLY He can give. By His power and might, we can receive understanding, knowledge, wisdom, and dicernment of ALL of His written words. Proverbs is the key to understanding all of the other Books of The Holy Bible, beginning with Genesis and ending with Revelation. In this study, I very strongly encourage using only the King James Bible. Proverbs has been butchered in all of the so-called "Modern Versions" ... a topic of which we are working on drafting important information to be posted soon. Also, I want to encourage you not to be dependent upon any "Commentary," but instead, only be dependent upon The Lord to teach you and to guide you into all truth, including and most especially His teaching and instructing you of His holy written words, as they are written, as He has preserved His words by inspiration of The Holy Spirit in the King James Bible of 1611. I hope and pray that you will be blessed by this message, and May God bless you and may He bless the hearing of His Holy words!
